The following guidelines should be adhered to while uploading images on Government websites:
- Images should be of good quality
- Images should be optimized for website
- Image size should not be more than 1024 x 768 pixels
- As far as possible, photographs used should be originated from the Departments.
- If taken from elsewhere, all due copyright permissions, if needed, should have been taken
- images should be royalty-free
